Oke Johnson Signs with GLCC

The Great Lakes Christian College Women’s Basketball Program is pleased to announce the signing of the Oghenehoke (Oke) Johnson, from Okemos High School. Oke played the guard/forward position for the Lady Chiefs basketball team this year. Oke comes from a big family where she has two brothers, two sisters and two wonderful parents, Willie and Kathy Johnson. Oke was born and raised in church. Her parents found it imperative that she grew up knowing the love of God, and she now continues to grow in her faith. In her free time, she enjoys singing and writing. Oke plans on studying history/political science at GLCC. The Great Lakes Women’s Basketball Program looks forward to having Oke be a key part of the rotation for next season’s rugged schedule in the Mid-East.
